Show notes
In last week’s episode, I mentioned or referenced:
- You should know your “assessments.” Here are a few to consider:
- 16 Personalities
- Myers-Briggs ( for this one, you’ll probably need to find someone certified in their assessment to take it and get the results)
- StrengthsFinder 2.0 (book with assessment) or StrengthsFinder 34 Assessment from Gallup
- Deloitte Business Chemistry (you might need to purchase their book if you want more detail than the PDF they offer on this page).
- Conceptual thinking and case study frameworks examples from one source
- You should check out a few leadership personalities like Simon Sinek, Brene Brown, Michael Hyatt, and Pat Lencioni.
- The free Interview Prep Quick Start Guide
- This week I continued answering your interview questions! If you want your question answered, just send an email to Josh@equippedinterview.com or leave me a voice message and I’ll answer your question on the podcast!
Linda Tinkey says
Great tips! Having been a coach for 13 years, I found that developing respectful relationships with your team is vital to your success, so being prepared for that interview question is very important. The other area which can make or break you as a leader is your ability to have your team “buy in” to many changes that will occur in any job. It’s so important to think through how you will help your team accept change and move forward! Thanks for the great ideas.
